Fei Liang – Barrister Partner
Fei Liang BL FCCA is the Barrister Partner of Rafferty Jameson Liang.
She is the first Chinese-born barrister called to the Bar of Ireland, an achievement that was featured by The Irish Times. A Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and practising barrister, Fei combines over 15 years of professional experience in Ireland, including over 10 years in management roles, with a strong record of legal advocacy and commercial insight.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Laws from the East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai, Fei moved to Ireland in 2008 to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting at DIT, followed by both the Diploma in Legal Studies and the Barrister-at-Law Degree at The Honorable Society of King’s Inns. She was called to the Bar of Ireland in 2020.
In practice, Fei appears regularly in court, representing clients in a wide range of matters. Her growing practice spans civil and commercial litigation, personal insolvency, employment law, debt recovery, property disputes, and criminal defence.
Before being called to the Bar, Fei held senior finance positions in Irish public and regulatory bodies, where she led teams, implemented financial systems, and advised on compliance with the Companies Acts and governance standards.
Fei is also a recipient of the Trinity Praeses Elit Award. Her rare combination of legal and financial expertise enables her to deliver practical, outcome-driven solutions for both individual and business clients, including those with cross-border or multilingual backgrounds.
